Thirty years of my life and still going fun, with twenty tears spent living at my family’s house and ten years spent renting at dormitories and apartments.

On this year, I decided I do not want to rent anymore. I must start investing.

I graduated from the university when I was twenty years old. I spent the next ten years building myself: master’s degree, insurances, stocks, travels, and other treats I could not get for myself while I was still a student.

Now is the time.

So I searched, I asked, I looked, and I read. In this age and time, the internet is the primary source when you want to find information.

Tap! Tap! And there I found sites and numbers to start my list for my inquiry.

I first made an inquiry for a condominium unit, and I went to the site to see for myself. I liked the deal. But when I told my mother about it, she disagreed with my plans, worrying that the location is a direct spot for the fault line. I talked to the agent and courteously rejected the deal. The agent was cool and reminded me I could call him once I need help about houses. Then I found this one at

This time, it is a brand new house and lot for sale. I booked a trip for Saturday to see the place.

On a Thursday before that, two days before the scheduled “tripping”, I was at work the whole day, not paying attention to my phone. There was too much to do, it was clear that the coming Friday and Saturday would mean work. When I finally looked at my phone, I was worried by the few missed calls. But there were no messages from the callers so I chose to ignore the calls. When the evening came though, I received a message:

The sender said that she was the manager of Lancaster and asked me if she could call. I responded to the sender saying I could not make it on Saturday. I had reservation, though because I was still considering meeting her some other days. The first three messages came in fine, but it gave me a weird feeling. The feeling was confirmed by the fourth message.

When I got the fourth message, I felt like I would have no more ways of turning back once I make another deal with this person. I jokingly replied that “it was scary”, and told her honestly to “not reschedule” I also thanked her for her time. Then the fifth message came in. It seemed funny to me at that time because I was amazed at how agitated an agent could be when a visit is cancelled two days prior to the schedule.

I tried to explain my case, inspite of being accused of making a fake request. The woman was still agitated about the cancellation that she posted about me on her social media calling me a BOGUS buyer an undesirable names.

She even publicly posted my private information.

It included my email, contact number, position, employer (my part-time), place of residence and personal url (social media).

She went as far as posting my face. In this post, I covered my face with a pink heart. I chose to use a candid black-and-white photo with the queery smile as my display photo on social media. I find it naturally me and I have no insecurities. But she posted it and captioned it with a derogatory remark hidden in “ayan ang pagmumukha ng GAG&!” One of her friends even commented “ang pangit”.

As if not enough, she posted the updates on public groups.

At the time, my phone rang a number of times from unknown callers. I searched for the customer care of Lancaster to report about what happened. But search results on a social media showed more than thirty pages using the same name.

Up to the time I wrote this, I still got no response from them. I also tried to call the the developer Profriends but they seem to be unavailable during weekends. I understand if they need their weekends. But what now that their agent has acted unprofessionally and unethically?

My last resort was this: I commented the screenshots of my conversation with the “manager” on her public posts. I also sent a report to facebook.
